Ducharme-Jones perform original, Americana, Roots-Rock, hailing originally from Austin, Texas and now residing in the Des Moines Metroplex. Their songwriting is lyrical with strong harmonies, a hook to draw the listener in, along with solid, melodic, and sophisticated guitar. Their performances include original songs, as well as their take on some of their favorite covers including but not limited to Lucinda Williams, Tom Petty, Linda Ronstadt, Jimi Hendrix or Dolly Parton.

Matt Terronez is an Iowa-based singer/songwriter, arranger, guitarist, and keyboard player. His artistic arrangements and soulful vocal interpretations seamlessly blend pop, jazz, and R&B sensibilities. Terronez’ immediately recognizable voice, and genre-defying approach to music overall, produce memorable performances that bring audiences back, time and time again.
Terronez performs in and fronts several acts, including the jazz-tinged Matt Terronez Quartet, the soul-blues-fusion band The RhythMatics, and the classic rock and soul band Boomerang. Nationally known quilt designer, Tony Jacobson, will be presenting his program “Quilting: the Art of What If.” In this hour-long presentation he will show you how to look at patterns in a different light. He will be present around 40 quilts showing you how different the same pattern can look by changing the colors, style of fabrics, and even switching up the values of the fabrics used in the background and the main prints. You will come away inspired to make every pattern uniquely yours.
Tony Jacobson is a former graphic designer/art director for 30 years with his last art director position being for Fons & Porter’s Love of Quilting Magazine. He is currently the Creativity Director for Piece Works Quilt Shop in Winterset, Iowa where he is constantly coming up with new patterns for the shop. Piece Works Quilt Shop will be supplying gift bags for all those who pre-register for the program. There will also be door prizes given throughout the night. Covered Bridges Winery will supply a glass of wine (or beverage of your choice and a individual charcuterie plate for all who pre-register as well. Also $5 of each ticket purchased will be donated to the Iowa Quilt Museum located in Winterset, Iowa.

Join us as we welcome Jesse & The Medicine Men! Jesse’s rich voice covers a very wide range. He can vibrate the basement with his bass, and yodel to high falsetto. Jesse is often asked to sing deep songs by Johnny Cash, or obscure tunes not heard on the radio anymore. Jesse loves audience participation when entertaining. The artists that continue to influence him are: Tennessee Ernie Ford, Hank Snow, Hank Williams, Bob Wills, Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, George Strait, Keith Whitley, Vern Gosdin, Marty Robbins, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Freddie Fender, Little Richard, Muddy Waters, The Gap Band, Night Ranger, George Jones, and Chuck Berry.

28 Days Later / Music at the Winery

28 Days Later is an Indie Rock band out of Norwalk, Iowa. All band members – Natalie, Joey, Gino and Jake – are current or former students at Norwalk High School. Separately, each has a passion for music, but it wasn’t until January 2022 that they were drawn together to blend their passion and talents. They quickly developed great chemistry. The band was started when Joey Gulbronson (Bassist) and Natalie Fulscher (Guitarist) began playing music together. The two of them brought in Jake Walker on the drums. Often, they would practice in Joey’s basement. Joey then invited Gino Hale (Lead Singer and Guitarist), a musician friend from the Des Moines scene.
In July of 2022, the band released 6 tracks on their first EP, “Dog Days”, available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music and others. Over the summer, their original song, “Right on Red”, was added to the rotation to air on Des Moines’ KFMG radio.
Immediately after releasing “Dog Days”, the band got started on their self-titled LP “28 Days Later”, which they recorded with Bryan Vanderpool and Blake Van Houten from Golden Bear Records. Special thanks to Chris Hesse (of Hoobastank) and The Lighthouse Recording studio for mastering all of the tracks! The singles “Phases” and “All Hard Feelings” have quickly become fan favorites at live shows. The album is to be released on all platforms November 1st, 2023. The band is currently scheduling venues in the Iowa City area, where most members of the band reside.
