Full Slate of St. Patrick's Day Events Across the City

There will be plenty of green beer, Irish food and live music around Des Moines tomorrow (March 17) as St. Patrick's Day festivities come to life in the wee hours of the morning.

The Royal Mile
will serve a special St. Patrick's Day breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. tomorrow for $9.99 per plate. After 11 a.m., corned beef and cabbage will be served all day long for $10.99 in addition to regular menu items. Guinness drafts will be $5 and there will be drink specials on Jameson shots and other beers on tap.

Bagpipers will begin playing at noon and the patio bar will be open all day.

You’ll feel like you landed in the U.K. when you enjoy the 28 ales and lagers on draft and the 120-plus beers in bottles, plus honest pub cooking in the unmistakably British atmosphere of the Royal Mile. Also check out the Red Monk upstairs, a bar dedicated to Belgian beer.
