Iowans planning trips to Chicago will soon be required to quarantine for two weeks.The Chicago Department of Public Health’s updated Emergency Travel Order mandates that people traveling from states with surging COVID-19 cases quarantine for 14 days.Starting Friday, residents from Iowa and Oklahoma will have to abide by the travel quarantine.Travel quarantine mandates took effect for Arizona, Florida, Louisiana, South Carolina, Texas, Georgia, Mississippi, Idaho, Alabama, Nevada, Tennessee, California, Arkansas, Utah and North Carolina on July 6.
