The former executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Council Bluffs has pleaded guilty to the unlawful use of an identification document, according to a news release from the Iowa Department of Justice.
Gina K. Malloy is on supervised release until her sentencing, set for Jan. 24.
FBI investigators say Malloy forged a signature to apply for a $30,000 loan from Windset Capital Corporation in 2014. The loan application was made in the name of Habitat for Humanity of Council Bluffs, the release said.

Malloy admitted she also applied for a U.S. Bank business Visa credit card for Habitat for Humanity around Jan. 13, 2015, using the same victim's personal data.
As part of the plea agreement, Malloy agreed to pay at least $13,490 to Habitat for Humanity of Council Bluffs. and $12,100 to U.S. Bank in restitution.
Phone calls to Malloy and her attorney, Stu Dornan, were not returned Thursday night.
Malloy worked as the executive director for Council Bluffs Habitat for Humanity for nine years, up until 2015. After that, she became the executive director for Joslyn Castle, holding that position until May 2016. The defendant was also on the Council Bluffs School Board for nine years.
