BONNE is the new rock project from award-winning artists and Iowans, Bonne Finken and Jon Locker.
Bonne Finken is an EMMY® recipient and three-time Independent Music Award nominee. Locker, a midwest music staple and owner of the Sonic Factory studios, was recently inducted into the Iowa Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame.
The 2023 album, execute, will release in July of 2023 and features "honest songs sung by an elite rock vocalist" (Music Street Journal) in the kinetic Finken, while showcasing Locker as the steadfast virtuoso on a custom BilT lead-bass guitar.
The BONNE project comes in response to the duo garnering universal praise throughout the years from their artist/producer dance on past releases, the highlights being Finken's album Fairytales/LoveAffairs, which celebrated a rare embrace from commercial radio and received an 'Album of the Year' nomination from Indie Music Digest.
As the roles and strengths for both Finken and Locker have seamlessly flowed in and out of writer, producer and artist - the BONNE project is the first time both musicians receive the stamp and title of all three.
The BONNE duo will be joined for the 7/14 Noce show by guitarist Seth Hedquist.
