At Birds & Bees Urban Farm, we inspire, educate, and empower people to turn their yards into dinner. Our nonprofit mission also includes working with other organizations and cities to champion local, sustainable food production as a means to to mitigate the effects of climate change, and ensure food security for now and into the future.

Backyard Beekeeping - Getting Started

If you’re thinking of joining the ever-expanding community of beekeepers, we can help you consider what it would mean for you. We’ll also show you some of the basic equipment you’ll need, and provide ideas for when, where, and how to get started. Oh, and you’ll also get to sample some of the “liquid gold” that our bees produced this year.

This class is FREE! Limited spots, registration required. Birds & Bees Urban Farm will be accepting donations.
