“It served its purpose, and I think it really lived up to its mission,” Tobi Parks, owner of the xBk music venue, said of the Des Moines Music Coalition. “And now it's up to the rest of us in this community to kind of carry that mantle, instead of it being the nonprofit organization kind of chugging along to do the heavy lifting. Congratulations to Tiffany Tauscheck on her recognition as a 2025 Book of Lists Most Influential Business Leader. Tauscheck is the president and CEO of Greater Des Moines Partnership, a position she took on in 2023 after serving with the organization since 2015. She also worked as its chief communications officer, chief strategy officer and chief operations officer and president. She has also served on the boards of the Central Iowa Water Trails, Bravo Greater Des Moines, Ballet Des Moines and more. Tauscheck was a Business Record 2021 Women of Influence Honoree and a member of the 2008 Forty Under 40 class. “I’m a big believer in our community and I’m very passionate about the work we get to do. I’m a believer in the power of a team and that it takes more than one person to get things done, and different perspectives, and that it’s meaningful along the way," she told the Business Record.
