Peace Tree Brewing will host bags and bocce ball tournaments Sunday. (Photo courtesy of Slingshot Architecture) Bags and Bocce Ball in East Village Peace Tree Brewing is partnering with the Riverbend Sport and Social Club
to host bags and bocce ball tournaments Sunday in honor of Memorial Day. The bocce ball competition will start at 11 a.m. with bags to follow at 3 p.m. The entry fee is $15 for
both events, with prizes for the first-, second- and third-place finishers. Events like these have made Peace Tree Brewing a staple in the Des Moines community. Established in 2009 in Knoxville, Peace Tree opened a location in 2017 in a renovated Quonset hut in the East Village. No food is served,
but you can bring your own or have it delivered.See more of dsm magazine's Eat+Drink restaurant reviews here.
