GREAT WEEKENDS BEGIN HERE

Mi Patria offers authentic empanadas and was featured on the Food Network program "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives."

Empanadas at Mi Patria Pack a Tasty Punch

Opening in 2010 as the first and only Ecuadorian restaurant in Des Moines, Mi Patria's menu is dotted with some delicious authentic meals. Fun fact: The restaurant was featured on an episode of "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" with Guy Fieri on the Food Network.

Mi Patria's empanadas—savory hand-held pastries filled with meat or cheese—are a tasty twist on a signature snack in Central and South America. Every meal at this casual venue should start off with an order of the warmly spiced, blistery-crisp half-moons. But share ’em—they’re huge.
