this for a meal and a show? Bubba — Southern Comforts is hosting a Drag Brunch buffet tomorrow featuring some of Des Moines' top drag personalities. There are two chances to catch the performance and food, at 10:30 a.m.
and 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $32, or $47 for the additional bottomless mimosas package. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the statewide advocacy group OneIowa.
The brunch buffet lineup includes:
- Vegetable egg bake with mushroom, asparagus, spinach and goat cheese.
- Egg
bake with chorizo, pepper jack cheese and black beans.
- Biscuits and gravy.
- Apple and rum raisin bread pudding with caramel.
- Bacon.
- Yogurt parfaits with granola and fruit.

'Havana Nights' The Des Moines Symphony will kick off its 2019-2020 Pops Concert series with a Latin twist. "Havana Nights,"
featuring soprano Camille Zamora and the Afro-Cuban rhythms of the Mambo Kings, starts at 7:30 tomorrow night at the Civic Center. Tickets range between $35 and $90. Learn more
