Proof Offers Second Saturday Al Fresco Menu
For the first time since March, Proof is hosting its monthly Second Saturday event tomorrow, but with a twist. To facilitate social distancing, the Western Gateway restaurant will seat people outside. Tables will be 6 feet apart, staff will wear masks and increase sanitization measures, and tables will be disinfected between uses. There are three different seating times: 5:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
The restaurant isn't revealing the menu but promises "a five-course blind-tasting menu packed with Proof's signature creative flair, heavy on summer ingredients and light on anything that might make you feel too toasty eating with us outside." If weather hinders plans, Proof has socially distant tables
inside.
Each meal is $85, and wine pairings and limited cocktail service are also available as add-ons. Capacity is limited, so call 515-244-0655 to grab a reservation.
